Celeste Rodriguez is a PhD candidate in Molecular Biology at Princeton University. She was born and raised in Reno, Nevada and completed her Bachelor's in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Nevada, Reno as a first generation college student. 

At Princeton, her research explores how cells sense and respond to their electrical environment, with a particular focus on how electric fields guide collective cell migration and alter cellular metabolism. She uses a combination of live-cell imaging, molecular biology, and metabolic approaches to understand the cellular processes underlying electrotaxis.
